My favorite article is the first one "Life Is a Spiritual Struggle". I found this one to be the most interesting because he is a kick boxer whom trains people. Yet, this man never even got into a fight himself. Which shows that you don't always have to have background in something in order to do it. I like how his main concern is the people he is training and their education. Lastly, I love when he said "Like everyone in the gym, I am training for a battle. My battle is everyday." Which I am sure many people can relate to, no matter what they are currently facing.

The second passage was very moving. This guy talks about how hard it was for him as a "bigger" person and the struggles he has to face. The interesting part is how he tells how successful he has become and how he has overcome things he once thought wasn't possible. Now he is doing those things and teaching others. Which is the biggest part of it all. Also when he says "Like steam off of a concrete sidewalk." You think to yourself. Here was when he allowed me to step into his shoes for me to just quickly understand or at least get an idea of how his life was.

In the third paragraph this person talks about how their grandmother is their inspiration and throughout the entire story they explain this lady as one who is well educated and hard working. I say this because it is stated that she knows five languages and that she has been working in a fabric store for 40years. He talks about all the time he has spent with her and how that has impacted him in his own life. He states "Looking back, I realize that the most important things she taught me were more valuable life lessons about patience and endurance, and probably most importantly to have faith." It seems as though this person was very close to his grandmother and she played a huge influential role in his life. That has helped shape him over time.
